What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trainer – Systems, Process & Technology position at alloyfasteners?
Allesco Industries is looking for a creative, technology-minded Trainer to help shape how we train, share knowledge, and use technology across our organization.
This is a broad, hands-on company training role. You will work across departments and locations, partnering with HR, Quality, the Tech Team, department leaders, and subject-matter experts to develop practical, effective training for company systems, processes, procedures, policies, and technology.
As part of our Team, you will have a key role in advancing how we use Microsoft 365, Microsoft Copilot and AI. We are looking for someone who actively uses these tools, understands how they work individually and together, and stays current as AI continues to evolve.
You will partner with subject-matter experts to understand what employees need to know and turn that knowledge into practical, effective training.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate training initiatives across departments and locations
- Develop practical training for Microsoft 365, Copilot, and AI focused on improving efficiency and collaboration
- Stay current with evolving AI capabilities, including Copilot, chat prompts, agents, integrated apps, and emerging tools
- Collaborate with HR, Quality, and department leaders on training for company policies, procedures, systems and processes
- Create engaging written, visual, presentation and video training content
- Conduct one-on-one and group training and support subject-matter experts in training their areas
- Support onboarding, cross-training and new system or process rollouts
- Manage training projects and track progress, documentation, and follow-up
- Support training within our ISO 9001 quality environment
What We Are Looking For
- Strong training, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Copilot and AI tools
- Genuine interest in AI and a commitment to continually learning and experimenting with new capabilities
- Ability to translate technology into practical ways employees can work more efficiently and collaboratively
- Strong project management, organization and attention to detail
- Creativity and the ability to develop engaging written, visual and video content
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes and different areas of a business
- A collaborative approach and ability to work effectively with employees, managers and subject-matter experts
- Manage training projects and track progress, documentation, completion, and follow-up
- Support training activities and documentation within our ISO 9001 quality environment
- Help improve the consistency and effectiveness of training throughout the organization
A Plus, But Not Required
- Experience working with ERP and CRM systems, such as HubSpot
- Familiarity with distribution, manufacturing, warehouse, or operational environments
