Alloy Personal Training Westport is seeking an energetic and motivated Part-Time Coach to join our growing team.
Alloy Personal Training is a nationally recognized franchise founded in 1992, built on a proven small-group training system that delivers measurable results through strength training, accountability, and consistency. We are proud to be the first Alloy location in Connecticut, bringing this established model to Fairfield County.
Compensation
- $25–$30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
- Paid bi-weekly
- Approximately 6–12 hours per week to start
- Saturday availability required
- Additional hours may become available as the business grows
- Overtime pay provided in accordance with applicable laws
Responsibilities
- Coach small-group personal training sessions using the Alloy Training System
- Deliver safe, effective, and structured coaching for adults of all fitness levels, with a focus on adults 40
- Prepare for sessions, including equipment setup and programming support
- Maintain a clean, organized, and member-ready training environment
- Build strong client relationships and contribute to a high-quality member experience
- Support basic administrative tasks as needed
- Attend mandatory weekly team meetings
- Support occasional marketing, community outreach, and client appreciation events
- Represent Alloy professionally during studio events and in the local community
- Maintain consistency with Alloy training systems, safety standards, and coaching expectations
Qualifications
- Passion for health, fitness, and helping others succeed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
- Valid Personal Training certification required
- Current CPR/AED certification required
- All certifications must be current and in good standing
- Prior coaching or fitness experience preferred
- Prior small group coaching experience is a plus
Schedule
- Part-time: 6–12 hours per week initially
- Saturday availability required
- Additional hours may become available based on business demand

This role offers room for growth as we plan to open two additional locations in Fairfield County over the next couple of years, creating opportunities for expanded hours and advancement within the company.

Additional Information
- This is an at-will, non-exempt position
- All required work time (including coaching sessions, meetings, and events) is compensated
- Employees may not solicit or provide personal training services to current clients outside of their role with the company
