Role Description
This full-time, on-site position is based in Birmingham, AL and combines responsibilities of a Director of Training and General Manager. Key responsibilities include overseeing daily studio operations, managing and mentoring a team of personal trainers, coordinating and improving training programs, and ensuring high standards of client satisfaction and retention. Additional duties include managing member onboarding, implementing personalized fitness plans, tracking performance metrics, and fostering a culture that reflects Alloy’s core values and mission. Collaboration with other departments and leadership in driving the studio's success is also expected.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, team management, and coaching skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of fitness techniques, program design, and exercise science
- Excellent customer service, client engagement, and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in operational management, scheduling, and performance evaluation
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field (preferred)
- Industry-specific certifications such as CPT, CSCS, or similar professional credentials are highly preferred
