What You’ll Do
As a Metal Casting Operator, you’ll help produce high-quality metal castings using induction furnaces and continuous casting equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You'll
- Operate and monitor furnaces and casting equipment
- Adjust processes to maintain product quality
- Clean and maintain molds, furnaces, and equipment
- Inspect molds and dies for quality standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, and saws
- Monitor furnace temperatures and respond to variations
- Move materials using cranes and forklifts
- Maintain accurate production records
- Keep your work area safe, clean, and organized
- Help support a strong safety-first culture
- High School Diploma or GED
- Manufacturing or heavy equipment experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Problem-solving mindset
- Dependable, self-motivated attitude
- Team-player mentality
- Attention to detail and safety
- High-temperature manufacturing environment
- Standing for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to obtain respirator clearance
