Job description
Alloy is looking for an experienced equipment installation crew leader. Person will be responsible for managing and leading field installation crews. Strong mechanical aptitude is required and welding skills are a must.
Requirements
· 5 years or more experience on field installation crew, crew lead experience preferred
· Communication skills required for discussing schedules with customers, employees, and Alloy management
Strong organizational skills required for:
-Planning equipment and personnel needs; including scheduling and resource allocation
-Verifying that all required parts have been shipped and received at the job site
-Setting project milestones and deadlines
-Accurately reporting crew hours to the home office for payroll and project tracking
· Ability to travel extensively including weekends when on field installation projects
· Ability to work safely and keep others, new members working safely and within safety rules of Alloy and customers safety programs
· Mechanical aptitude and ability to coach others on use of grinders, torches, welders, plasma cutters, hand tools, pneumatic tools, hoists, lifting chains, etc.
· Ability to maintain and care for field crew tool boxes inventory, repairs, and tool replacement needs
· Ability to use and train others on use of forklifts, manlifts, and other field installation equipment
· Ability to read and comprehend blue prints
· Good driving record and valid driver's license
Physical Requirements of Job Functions
· Physical labor required
· Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds
· Ability to work in less than ideal conditions, i.e. crawl, stoop, kneel, balance, and weld in unusual positions
· Ability to work at heights
