IT Systems Administrator
Location: Cranston, RI
Department: Information Technology
Reports To: Operations Manager

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented IT Systems Administrator to manage and support our organization's IT infrastructure across multiple platforms and locations. This role involves the administration of Office 365, Windows Servers, VOIP systems, end-user devices, and business-critical applications like Inxsql. The ideal candidate will be proactive, security-conscious, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
Office 365 Administration
- Manage user accounts: add/remove users, assign licenses
- Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Configure and manage Microsoft Teams and Groups
- Enforce security policies including password controls and MFA (Authenticator)
- Manage Exchange Online mailboxes and permissions
RingCentral VOIP System
- User provisioning and deactivation
- Maintain and troubleshoot VOIP hardware
- Configure extensions and call queues
Windows Server Administration
- Windows Server 2019:

- Manage Domain Controller, DNS, and user accounts
- Configure and maintain network printers
- Perform regular backups and recovery testing
- Windows Server 2022 Datacenter:
-
- Manage user access and printer configurations
- Support Inxsql database and OneDrive integration
End-User Device Management
- Procure, configure, and deploy Windows 11 PCs (desktops/laptops) for local and branch offices
- Install and maintain applications
- Configure network and label printers (Zebra, HP)
- Troubleshoot Ethernet and WiFi connectivity
Inxsql ERP System
- Manage login permissions and user defaults
- Customize and create reports (SSRS)
- Set up customers, vendors, and items
- Handle invoicing, receiving, lot management, and auditing
- Import files for pricing and mass updates
- Maintain code files and forms
Remote Access & Security
- Configure and support NetExtender VPN and Remote Desktop settings
- Maintain Exclaimer Cloud for email signature management
Website & Hosting
- Maintain and update company website (easternscrew.com)
- Work with PHP and DreamHost hosting platform
Print Management
- Create and edit product prints and documentation
Cloud Services
- Manage AWS Route 53 DNS configurations
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 years of experience in IT systems administration
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server environments, and VOIP systems
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Inxsql
- Familiarity with PHP, SSRS, and AWS services
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
