What You'll Do:
- Lead consolidated buying for all branches-build RFQs, compare bids, and place POs to maximize savings.
- Maintain national pricing, tiered breaks, and standardized order quantities.
- Use ERP tools to manage inventory, analyze data, and ensure every site has what it needs.
- Coordinate interbranch transfers to balance stock and working capital.
- Expedite orders, track shipments, and work with suppliers to meet deadlines and specs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (IFI/ASTM/ASME, RoHS/REACH, DFARS/Buy American).
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Production, QA, and our Import Purchasing Manager.
What You Bring:
- 3 years' experience in purchasing/buying, especially with U.S. suppliers and multi-warehouse operations.
- Proven negotiation skills and experience with blanket orders, VMI, or consignment.
- Strong ERP and Excel skills (lookups, pivots); BI experience a plus.
- Knowledge of fasteners, metals, or hardware preferred.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and compliance certifications is a bonus.
