Development Project Manager
Alloy Development is seeking a Development Project Manager to support our development team. The Development PM will oversee the full lifecycle of Alloy’s real estate development projects, from initial concept and site acquisition through project delivery and stabilization. This role requires a high level of expertise in NYC planning/zoning, financial analysis, and project management.
The Development PM will collaborate closely with Alloy’s design, construction, and advisory teams as well as outside consultants, attorneys, and agencies. The ideal candidate is passionate about New York City’s urban landscape and has a deep understanding of the real estate development process.
Responsibilities include directing all aspects of the development process including:
- Site acquisition and entitlement
- Financial oversight and analysis
- Project management of multiple development projects
- Stakeholder engagement (community, agencies, consultants, investors)
- Risk mitigation and problem solving
- Sustainability and innovation
Ideal candidates would have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred)
- 5 to 10 years of real estate development experience, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years in a project management role. Proven track record in NYC preferred
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, pro forma development, and budgeting
- Extensive knowledge of NYC real estate market, zoning, building code, entitlement process
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to lead meetings with diverse audiences and present publicly
- Problem solving and strategic thinker
Salary range of $150,000 to $180,000 per year and employment benefits including healthcare, paid vacation time, and retirement benefits.
