What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail/Dishwasher position at Alloro Italian Bakery?
Job Summary
We are a small bakery looking for help with retail and dishwashing. This is a single position with a priority on retail, including talking to customers, taking orders, weighing and pricing baked goods, packing orders, and keeping a clean and organized workspace. Dishes are washed, sanitized, air dried, and put away during slow periods or when urgently needed while also managing retail.
Current hours needed are early Tuesday and Wednesday morning (as early as 6am preferred) into afternoon, with some Thursday afternoon availability and occasional openings on other days and during other hours as we have a small team with sporadic availability. Experience appreciated but not required, we are willing to train.
Responsibilities
- Speak with customers and take orders in a friendly and welcoming way
- Weigh items for prices, use POS, package items, and take payments
- Restock shelves
- Keep clean and organized
- Wash and put away dishes
- Other minor tasks around the bakery
Skills

- The ability to stand for long periods of time

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5.0 – 30.0 per week
