The role
Allocortech does not need a backlog janitor. We need someone who understands why four-quadrant FOC, voltage class, SWaP-C, and certification timeline are the product — and can turn that into a roadmap OEMs will buy.
Taurus motor controllers, Clio power/comms hubs, and the surrounding battery/PDU work already power eVTOL, hybrid cargo aircraft, and electric hydrofoils. Your job is to productize that stack.
What You Will Do
Fifty-plus people, revenue already tripled, and a propulsion line that is on vehicles instead of slides. You will set what gets built next — not write tickets for a platform team in another time zone.

Level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. What You Will Do
- Own the propulsion backlog: Taurus variants, voltage/power SKUs, firmware feature flags, packaging, accessories.
- Sit with EE, FOC firmware, and customers and turn “400 V, regen, eight-week MOTS” into sequenced work.
- Write requirements hardware and firmware can actually build. Kill nice-to-haves that blow SWaP or schedule.
- Partner with sales on positioning, spec sheets, and which custom asks become catalog.
- Keep the 18-month versus 24-month product bets honest.
- 5 years owning a technical product on power electronics, motor drives, avionics, or vehicle propulsion.
- Enough EE/firmware literacy to argue current loops, isolation, and CAN without hiding behind Jira.
- Comfort in front of aerospace, defense, or advanced-vehicle OEMs.
- Judgment on COTS vs. MOTS vs. custom — and the discipline to say no.
- Bonus: eVTOL/UAS, hybrid-electric, or maritime electric programs.
