The Field Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the Field Marketing team through direct people management, operational oversight, and strategic guidance. This role manages Field Marketing Leads and Specialists, provides regular coaching and feedback, and ensures alignment between field execution, sales goals, and marketing strategy.
In addition to team leadership, the Manager is responsible for approvals and administrative oversight, including Workday requests, invoicing, and budgeting related to field marketing activities. The Manager partners closely with Sales, Marketing, General Managers and other internal teams to refine training, events, messaging, and processes that drive ROI and community impact.
Travel required up top 50%
Colorado Residents: Typical pay range for this role is $80,000 to $90,000 plus commission depending on experience.
Job Details
Field Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Oversee Field Marketing Programs: Ensure consistent, high-quality execution of field marketing campaigns, events, promotions, and activations across markets.
- Drive Revenue & ROI: Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to ensure field efforts directly support revenue growth and lead generation goals.
- Event & Activation Oversight: Review, guide, and approve field events and sponsorships, ensuring alignment with strategy, budget, and ROI expectations.
- Market Intelligence: Gather and communicate insights on customer feedback, competitive activity, and local market trends.
People Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and Develop Team: Manage Field Marketing Leads and Specialists, setting clear expectations, providing coaching, and supporting professional development.
- Performance Management: Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, provide feedback on sales performance and field execution, and recognize achievements.
- Training & Onboarding Support: Guide onboarding, mentoring, and ongoing learning initiatives to ensure team readiness and effectiveness.
- Lead by Example: Demonstrate ALLO’s values, professionalism, and strong field presence.
Operational Oversight
- Workday and Invoice Approvals: Review and approve Workday requests, time entries, and invoices related to field marketing activities.
- Budget Management: Monitor field marketing spend and ensure responsible use of resources.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to field operations, workflows, and reporting.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Partner with Sales: Work closely with Sales leadership, Front Office, and Door-to-Door teams to align messaging, lead flow, and execution.
- Marketing Collaboration: Provide field insights to Marketing to inform campaigns, messaging, and strategy.
- Community Engagement: Represent ALLO as a trusted partner through events and local initiatives.
Performance Monitoring
- Track Team Metrics: Monitor sales results, lead generation, and field performance.
- Reporting & Insights: Communicate trends, feedback, and competitive insights to leadership.
- Ensure Target Achievement: Support teams in consistently meeting or exceeding sales and performance goals.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum 4-year degree) required.
- Willing to travel up to 60% of the time.
- 5 years of experience in field marketing, sales, or community engagement (preferred).
- 2 years of experience managing teams (preferred).
- Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members.
- Experience with approvals, invoices, or operational oversight preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Self-motivated and able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on leadership.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must be located within an ALLO fiberhood; this is a field-based role.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and occasional weekends.
- Comfortable using CRM, reporting, and internal systems to track performance and approvals.
