Position Overview
Are you interested in creating new paint formulas with resins? We are looking for someone who wants to be a valued contributor and member of a talented and dynamic team. The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for performing testing on raw materials, intermediates and finished products.
Responsibilities
- Perform all laboratory tests according to written instructions, including existing/ newly introduced equipment
- Perform mathematical calculations using supplied equations or spreadsheets
- Use ERP software for incoming material control, entering QC data, and generating COAs
- Maintain housekeeping in Laboratory
- Quality control of raw materials, intermediate products and finished goods, including quick troubleshooting
- Understand the analytical test method
- Ensure that test equipment is calibrated, monitored
- Ensure that the tests are correctly carried out, documented and up-to-date.
- Conduct and coordinate Round Robins and measurement variant analysis
- Coordinate and investigate complaint management process
- Maintain accurate records of all Quality Control data
- Generation of product information for release and troubleshooting
- Good computer literacy, excellent MS Excel skills
- Experience with proprietary software a plus
- Self-starter with good communications skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
- Bachelor Degree in the Sciences is preferred
- Previous laboratory experience is a plus
