Position Overview

We are seeking a Clinical Data Analyst to support healthcare quality, regulatory reporting, and operational analytics initiatives. This role will support the SDS Operations team by developing clinician outreach and data mining assignments, analyzing operational data, and creating reports that help leadership monitor productivity, quality, program effectiveness, and process performance.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating with clinical, operational, and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage weekly clinician outreach and data mining assignments based on available work inventory and business priorities.
• Develop recurring operational reports and dashboards tracking outreach volume, productivity, quality, data mining progress, gap closure, and other key metrics.
• Analyze data and perform quality assurance reviews to identify discrepancies, data integrity issues, process defects, and reporting anomalies.
• Utilize Alteryx and Microsoft Excel to prepare, transform, validate, automate, and report on operational datasets.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, workflow diagrams, reporting requirements, business rules, and process documentation.
• Identify trends and opportunities for process improvement through analysis of operational and quality metrics.
• Collaborate with frontline staff, supervisors, managers, analysts, and leadership to improve reporting and operational processes.
• Prepare leadership-ready reports and presentations that provide actionable insights for decision-making.
• Support data-driven initiatives focused on healthcare quality, regulatory reporting, workflow optimization, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• 1 year of HEDIS® experience or experience supporting a similar healthcare regulatory reporting program.
• 2 years of Business or Clinical Analytics experience.
• 2 years of process improvement experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Alteryx, including ETL, workflow development, automation, and reporting.
• Experience supporting HEDIS®, Stars, quality improvement, or healthcare regulatory reporting programs.
• Advanced data transformation and reporting capabilities.
• Experience developing automated reporting solutions.
• Healthcare analytics, clinical operations analytics, business intelligence, or regulatory reporting experience.
• Strong documentation and process standardization experience.

Work Environment

This is a fully remote position requiring the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with multiple departments and leadership levels virtually.
