Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hamilton Square, NJ for a Residential Counselor. The Residential Counselor will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals with special needs in a community home setting. Daily tasks include monitoring and ensuring the well-being of residents, developing and implementing care plans, providing emotional support, coordinating with healthcare providers, and assisting with daily living activities.
Qualifications
- Experience in Human Services and Case Management
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and Psychology knowledge
- Understanding of Mental Health practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree in Banking & Finance, or a related field is preferred
- Previous experience working with individuals with special needs
