About the Position
AlliedTravelCareers is working with Towne U.S. LLC to find a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Pikeville, Kentucky, 41501!
We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in an Inpatient Rehabilitation (IPR) setting. The SLP will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders while supporting recovery and functional independence.
Position Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Weekend Rotation: Approximately every 4th weekend
- Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Educate patients and caregivers on communication strategies and swallowing safety
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Requirements
- Required: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Required: Active SLP license in state of practice or ability to obtain
- Preferred: Experience in IPR and/or acute care
