Requirements
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility
- Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy treatment plans
- Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care
- Educate patients and caregivers on communication strategies and swallowing safety
- Maintain compliance with facility standards and state/federal regulations
Requirements
- Active SLP license in MI required to start the assignment
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- BLS/CPR certification
- Prior SNF experience preferred
