Job Description:
The Respiratory Therapist will provide care to patients experiencing respiratory distress, including airway and ventilator management, at a 58-bed hospital. The position requires collaboration with a stat RN and house supervisor for triage.
Responsibilities:
- Airway assessment and management
- Blood gas assessment, draw, and analysis
- Emergency response (Rapid response and Code blue)
- Intubation and extubation
- Equipment setup, disassembly, and vent management
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience, 2 years preferred
- Experience with adults, pediatrics, and neonatals for first-time travelers
- Required Licensure and Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT, and WA state license
- Familiar with EMR: Epic
