AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified Rad Tech in Waterloo, Iowa, 50703!

Jackson HealthPros is excited to add an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist to our team where you’ll be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification required.
• Iowa Radiology license required. (Highly preferred if already active; must obtain during onboarding if inactive.)
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 24 months of Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray experience in a hospital setting required.
• EPIC EMR experience required.
• Experience with Siemens x-ray room and portables required.
• GE C-arm experience in surgical settings required.
• Experience across outpatient, inpatient, Emergency Department, and surgery settings required.
• Driver’s license document required.
• Work history/resume must demonstrate 24 months of current Radiologic Tech / X-Ray experience.
• Skills checklist specific to Radiologic Tech / X-Ray required.
• Professional reference or performance evaluation from a charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director within the past 24 months preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Shift Name: Nights.
• Schedule Pattern: 7 on, 7 off. Wednesday through Tuesday scheduling. Holiday rotation included.
• Weekday Hours: 1:30 PM – 11:00 PM.
• Weekend Hours: 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM.
• Average Hours: 65 hours bi-weekly (37 hours one week, 28 hours the next).
• Setting/Patient Care: Outpatient, Inpatient, ED, Surgery.
• Equipment: Siemens (x-ray room/portables) and GE C-arm in surgery.
• Unit Expectations: Technologists responsible for returning outpatients to department and transporting ER patients.
