About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified Rad Tech in Hyannis, Massachusetts, 02601!

Jackson HealthPros is excited to add an experienced Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Technologist to our team where you’ll be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Graduate of a JRCERT accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered by the ARRT or ARRT registry-eligible.
• Licensed by the State of Massachusetts.
• BLS certification.
• Experience performing diagnostic radiography and preparing patients for examinations, including positioning and immobilization techniques.
• Experience with maintaining radiology records and labeling images for proper identification.
• Ability to assist physicians with special procedures such as needle biopsies and to evaluate image technical quality.
• Ability to follow departmental policies including infection control, fire and disaster plans.
• Effective communication skills in English for patient interactions and documentation.
• Preferred: Experience in a hospital radiology department and experience instructing clinical or didactic education.
