About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Towne U.S. LLC to find a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87102!

We’re seeking a motivated and compassionate Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a 13-week assignment in a Skilled Nursing / Post-Acute Care setting. This role offers the opportunity to work with a geriatric population, collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehab team, and make a meaningful impact on patient mobility and independence.

Assignment Details

• Position Type: Travel / Contract

• Length: 13 weeks

• Schedule: Day shift

• Guaranteed Hours: Typically 36–40 hours/week

• Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

• Start Date: ASAP or upcoming start dates available

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care

• Provide skilled PT interventions focused on strength, balance, gait, and functional mobility

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

• Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and outcomes

• Collaborate with nursing and rehabilitation teams

• Educate patients and caregivers on mobility, safety, and home exercise programs

What You Need

• PT or DPT from an accredited program

• Active or eligible Physical Therapist license

• SNF or post-acute experience preferred (new grads may be considered, depending on facility)

• Strong communication, time-management, and teamwork skills

• Commitment to patient-centered care
