Job Title

Nuclear Medicine Technologist

City/State: Omaha, Nebraska

Shift: 7:00-3:30pm M-F Call will be 1 day/week and every 5th weekend

Contract Length: 91 weeks

Job Description:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform various nuclear medicine procedures and studies using advanced equipment including Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAMs, mainly within an acute care setting. The technologist will be responsible for ensuring safety and proper handling of radioactive materials, complying with patient care policies, and adhering to hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Perform nuclear medicine diagnostic procedures and therapy treatments.
• Ensure radiation safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotations as required.
• Maintain accurate records and document all procedures in the EPIC system.

Requirements:

• BLS Certification
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB Certificate
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to adhere to fingernail policy and radiation badge usage
• DOT Certification preferred at original contract, required at extension
