About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified Nuclear Medicine Tech in Reno, Nevada, 89521!

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. You will be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and operating radiation detection and imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic studies.

Minimum Requirements

• An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology or related field.
• Current state Nuclear Medicine Technologist license for Nevada. Must have NV state license in hand before start date.
• Certification through AART or RCIS required.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical Nuclear Medicine experience.
• Experience working with scintillation cameras and nuclear medicine imaging computer systems.
• Ability to provide services across patient populations including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Willingness to float to other hospital units as needed, within competency level. (Preferred: prior experience floating between departments.)

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Hours: 0600-1700.
• Schedule: 4x10s, 0630-1700, rotating days of the week; weekly guaranteed hours: 40.
• Call Requirements: No regular call. Participation in call schedule may occur at supervisor discretion during short staffing.
• Floating: Travelers may be required to float to meet organizational needs up to their competency level.
• Holiday/Weekend Expectations: May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period.
