AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified Medical Technologist in Manchester, New Hampshire, 03102!

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Science, or equivalent field as required by client.
• National certification required (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent). Certifications must be in hand at time of assignment.
• In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state.
• 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Medical Technologist. Experience with chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, and front-end STAT microbiology preferred.
• Experience with SoftLab or similar laboratory documentation systems preferred.
• BLS certification.
• Overnight scheduling experience and availability to work every other weekend preferred.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Outpatient laboratory supporting a 330-bed hospital campus.
• Shift name: Nights.
• Shift hours: 2100-0700.
• Schedule: Overnight, 4 nights per week, 9pm-7am.
• Unit staffing: Typically 2–3 technologists on shift; travelers will not be the sole lab technologist.
• Equipment/operations: Chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, front-end STAT micro.
• Documentation system: SoftLab.
