About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified Mammography Tech in Liberal, Kansas, 67901!

Join our team as an experienced Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in Liberal, KS. In this role, you will perform specialized breast imaging examinations to assist in diagnosis and treatment of breast disease for a hospital setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Mammography (M), or ARRT registry eligible with documentation of eligibility.
• Current Kansas Radiologic Technologist (LRT) license or ability to obtain an active KS license prior to start.
• Minimum 2 years of mammography experience in a clinical setting.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience using Meditech electronic medical record preferred.
• Willingness to discuss weekend coverage and on-call responsibilities during interview; weekend/on-call may be required.
• Must be located more than 45 miles from the facility at time of assignment start.
• Must comply with onsite drug screening and other pre-employment compliance requirements.
• Preferred: prior hospital-based mammography experience and familiarity with screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.

Assignment Details

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Shift name: Days.
• Shift type: 8-hour day shift.
• Typical shift pattern: Monday through Friday, first shift (8:00–16:30) as discussed in order notes.
• EMR: Meditech.
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
• Overtime policy: OT begins after hour 49.
