About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Jackson HealthPros to find a qualified CT Tech in Metropolis, Illinois, 62960!

We’re seeking an experienced CT Tech for a permanent role with an area healthcare client where you’ll be responsible for accurately interpreting a physician’s scanning instructions, skillfully administering contrast materials, and expertly operating CT scan equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1 year experience preferred as a CT Technologist, including experience performing contrast-enhanced CT studies.
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT or radiography as applicable.
• BLS certification.
• Experience operating PACS and performing image transmission and basic PACS workstation duties.
• Experience with portable radiographic equipment and performing imaging in medical/surgical, cardiac care, recovery, and emergency settings.
• Ability to prepare and administer contrast media intravenously and via other routes and to assess patients prior to contrast administration.
• Experience working night shift schedules (nights, 7p–7a; typical pattern: 3x12).
• Willingness to participate in quality assurance activities and to instruct radiography students as needed.
