Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT examinations according to physician orders and department protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for CT procedures.
- Operate CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to radiation safety guidelines.
- Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to ensure timely patient care.
- Follow all infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience.
- Current ARRT Certification (required).
- Active state license, if applicable.
- Experience working in an acute care or hospital imaging department.
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures, patient positioning, and radiation safety.
- Experience with Epic EMR is preferred.
