Position Summary
Allied World seeks an individual to serve in the role of Sr. Project Coordinator to support the implementation and ongoing management of North America underwriting platforms. This role will assist in coordinating initiatives, tracking progress, and ensuring smooth communication between underwriting, technology teams, and operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Project Coordination
- Support the planning and execution of Underwriting transformation initiatives
- Address Underwriting issues, vendor questions, or technological risks to mitigate impact to project timelines
- Recognize and escalate issues that occur during project execution by tracking action items, risks, and dependencies across cross functional teams
- Team Support
- Work closely with underwriting, technology, and vendor partners to support business requirements gathering and testing
- Assist with scheduling meetings, maintaining project plans, and documenting key decisions
- Prepare status reports, dashboards, and stakeholder updates
- Identify and deliver on opportunities for continuous process improvement
- Process & Documentation
- Maintain project artifacts, including meeting notes, requirements documents, and issue logs
- Ensure updates are reflected in Jira, Confluence, or other project management tools
- Help support adoption activities, including training coordination and user communications
- Report on project metrics including progress, resource utilization, risks and issues
