If you know the difference between a lift station, an ejector pump, and a leach field, and you can keep daily operations running like clockwork, this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Technical Client Intake: Pre-screen incoming residential and commercial emergency calls, diagnose high-level issues over the phone, and dispatch crews effectively.
- Permitting & Locates: File county health department septic permits, municipal right-of-way documentation, and submit/manage JULIE utility locates.
- Job Costing & Purchasing: Coordinate material pricing with suppliers, build job cost sheets, track field expenses, and generate invoicing.
- Crew & Schedule Management: Serve as the direct line of support for field crews, adjusting routes for emergency backups and coordinating equipment/materials.
Hard Requirements
- 3-5 Years in Trades: Prior experience in septic, plumbing, sewer rehabilitation, excavation, or wet utility construction office/dispatch roles.
- Fluency in Industry Terminology: Solid understanding of underground utilities, pumps, risers, drainage, and waterproofing systems.
- Tech Stack: Experience with field service management platforms (ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, etc.), QuickBooks, and Excel.
