Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Veterinary Technician Supervisor role based in Eau Claire, WI. The Supervisor will oversee and support a team of veterinary technicians, ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care and customer service. Daily responsibilities include staff training and development, scheduling, monitoring workflows and procedures, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with clinic standards. The role also involves hands-on assistance with medical procedures, patient monitoring, and client interaction as needed.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in executing technical veterinary skills, such as administering medications, drawing blood, monitoring anesthesia, and performing laboratory diagnostics.
- Experience in team leadership, training, and mentoring veterinary staff to maintain consistent quality of care.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, including scheduling, inventory management, and adherence to clinic protocols.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for working with team members, veterinarians, and clients.
- Dedication to providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients and fostering positive client relationships.
- Veterinary Technician Certification (CVT, LVT, RVT) is required.
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required for a 24/7 emergency care facility.
