Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Eau Claire, WI, for a CVT and Veterinarian, part-time and relief also available. The CVT and Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to all patients, including performing examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures. Daily tasks include collaborating with team members, ensuring patient comfort, and communicating with pet owners to provide education and support. The role may also involve mentoring junior staff and contributing to the improvement of hospital protocols and procedures.
Qualifications
- DVM degree or equivalent; current licensure in the state of Wisconsin
- Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) certification
- Proficiency in a wide range of veterinary practices, including examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgeries
- Strong communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Experience in emergency and specialty care is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
