As a Security Professional - Tech Campus Patrol in Johnston, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. By conducting routine patrols and remaining visible, you will contribute to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or incidents encountered during patrols.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters as needed.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Support emergency response protocols and assist first responders when required.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
