Job Description
As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Driver in Bell Gardens, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Armed Officer where you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This role requires you to carry a firearm and operate a vehicle as you conduct routine patrols, respond to situations, and support a secure environment. Provide excellent customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgment to address situations appropriately.Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to identify potential security-related concerns.Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and actions taken according to Allied Universal protocols.Collaborate with law enforcement and other emergency personnel as required during incidents or emergencies.Remain alert and attentive to surroundings, adapting to varying working environments and conditions based on the needs of the government site.Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.An armed guard card or license is required.A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Handcuffing certification is preferred.CPR certification is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
