As a Security Professional Unarmed Telecom Patrol in Simi Valley, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic technology and media environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the location. You will also provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, supporting a welcoming atmosphere for all. Pay Rate: $21.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the facility to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.
• Remain alert and attentive to surroundings, adapting to changing conditions within a tech and media environment.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Possess a current Guard Card or license, or be able to obtain one if required by state or local regulations.
• Possess current CPR and/or First Aid certification.
• Have customer service experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
