Security Patrol Officer - Day Shift

As a Security Patrol Officer - Day Shift in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or supervisors as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, loading zones, parking areas, and the perimeter, with attention to unusual activity and unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access requirements, and help to deter disruptions to daily operations at the location.
• Support reporting and access control activities by completing assigned logs, noting maintenance or operational concerns, and reporting security-related issues according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
