Job Description

As a Security Officer Welcome Desk Associate in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location as a Front Desk Security Officer, where you will welcome tenants and visitors, help monitor lobby activity, manage access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. In this highly visible role, you will support a professional environment, respond to security-related concerns, and bring our agile, reliable, innovative, team-driven, and integrity-focused values to every interaction.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Monitor front desk activity, manage access control processes, and verify visitor credentials in accordance with property protocols and tenant requirements.
• Respond to incidents, inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or first responders when needed.
• Maintain accurate front desk logs, visitor records, and incident documentation, and report unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
