As a Security Officer Front Desk Ambassador in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location as a Front Desk professional, where you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badges, and support daily security-related operations with strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at the front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor reception duties, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, and directing authorized individuals in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Answer phones, manage incoming inquiries, and maintain front desk logs, reports, and other required documentation related to daily security-related operations.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing the lobby and entry points, reporting concerns, and following established procedures within a busy logistics and distribution location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
