Security Officer Visitor Management

As a Security Officer Visitor Management in Fort Myers, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic retail location where you will help manage access control, monitor activity, and perform routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. This role combines customer service, communication, and a visible presence while supporting a welcoming environment for shoppers and staff. Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, monitoring entry points, and supporting access control activities throughout the location.
• Verify identification, credentials, and/or visitor information before permitting access to designated areas, and document deliveries, vendors, and guest arrivals as required.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and support security-related operations.
• Monitor doors, gates, alarms, and/or other access control systems, report maintenance or policy concerns, and complete required logs, reports, and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
