Security Officer - Visitor Check-In Desk

As a Security Officer - Visitor Check-In Desk in Bothell, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal at a front desk post where you will be the first point of contact, welcoming visitors, supporting access control and badging, and assisting with check-in procedures. You will monitor activity through technology, handle phone and/or radio communications, and document security-related events with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor the front desk area and access points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and document visitor entries, deliveries, and other access activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify site contacts and/or emergency services as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
