Security Officer - Visitor Badging

As a Security Officer - Visitor Badging in Northampton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Allied Universal Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will manage access control, verify credentials, and support badge processing while keeping accurate visitor and vehicle logs. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and respond to security-related concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, drivers, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at entry points by verifying identification, issuing and collecting badges and/or visitor passes, and directing authorized individuals to the appropriate areas.
• Manage vehicle and trailer access by checking inbound and outbound trucks, confirming appointments and/or shipping documentation as required, and maintaining accurate gate logs.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and access control systems, report irregular activity, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, document events clearly, and assist with scene control until additional resources arrive.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
