Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol Driver in Rosemead, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a cultural institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so you will use a vehicle to support patrol coverage and quick response. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or clergy by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a cultural institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying site contacts and/or public responders as required.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of galleries, offices, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access points and interior areas for unusual conditions such as propped doors, restricted-area entries, and/or lost-and-found concerns, taking appropriate security-related action per post orders.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs with clear, timely information while maintaining a professional presence and communication with site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
