As a Security Officer Unarmed in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, clear communication, and being part of an agile, reliable team that puts people first and leads with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and distribution location, including sales floor, warehouse areas, loading zones, parking lots, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points, help to deter unauthorized activity, and observe for unusual behavior, operational issues, and/or conditions that may require a security-related response.
• Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with incident follow-up, and communicating clearly with management and/or emergency personnel when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
