As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. You will conduct regular patrols, assist with access control, and communicate clearly with visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at retail locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, presence of unauthorized individuals, or unusual occurrences, to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification as required, and maintaining visitor logs.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, including guiding individuals to designated areas and communicating with emergency services.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, or other disruptive behavior within the retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
