As a Security Officer - Unarmed Perimeter Patrol in Holbrook, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and deliver helpful customer service to employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken per site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout manufacturing and industrial production areas, warehouses, offices, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and key areas for unusual conditions, report maintenance or operational concerns, and escalate issues through the appropriate channels.
• Complete detailed reports including shift activity logs, incident reports, and patrol observations, communicating relevant information to site leadership and incoming officers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
