As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in COLLINS, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report maintenance, access control, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access for employees, visitors, and/or deliveries, and report suspicious behavior, restricted area violations, and/or other security-related issues.
• Support facility operations by observing equipment zones, trailer and vehicle traffic, and high-activity areas for potential concerns while following Allied Universal post orders and client-directed protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
