Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Frackville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with staff and visitors, document observations, and respond to concerns with professionalism and strong customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, staging zones, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Control access for employees, contractors, and delivery drivers by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or shipping documentation as required, and directing visitors to the appropriate areas.
• Complete required reports and logs such as patrol activity, incident documentation, and shift handoff notes, and communicate notable conditions to Allied Universal supervision and/or client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
