As an unarmed patrol officer in a busy retail location, you will move throughout the property, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related concerns. You will greet shoppers and staff with strong customer service, communicate clearly with store leadership, and document activity to support day-to-day operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with local law enforcement and/or site leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and access control concerns, and complete detailed reports and documentation per site requirements.
• Support store operations during high-traffic periods by providing a visible presence, assisting with customer questions, and directing individuals to appropriate resources and/or exits when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Preferred ability to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Preferred ability to be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Preferred loss prevention experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
