As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with guests and staff, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the retail or mall environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any security-related concerns.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior or unauthorized access and report findings according to site procedures.
• Assist with crowd management and help to maintain an orderly environment during peak hours or special events within the retail setting.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents or site needs.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner as directed by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
