Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Fort Collins, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas while staying highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will complete routine rounds, observe and report unusual activity, support access points, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of food service areas, receiving docks, storage rooms, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor flows, help to verify credentials when required, and/or assist with contractor and delivery check-in consistent with site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical calls, fire alarms, and/or equipment or facility issues, and notify the appropriate contacts.
• Document and report security-related activity, incidents, and/or policy violations using written reports and applicable reporting systems, and communicate key information during shift turnover.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
• Loss Prevention is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
