As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Unit in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing updates with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, verifying access permissions where required and reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations.
• Support opening, closing, and after-hours security-related routines, including checking doors, lighting, and restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
