As an Unarmed Security Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of business areas, exterior grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document patrols, observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
